There is a few devices available for the Touch version of Windows 8, the most intriguing version. I’ll pass on the Windows RT tablet, product released too early and has to prove itself.I had the luck to catch that new tablet from Samsung (with Dockable Keyboard), the brand new ATIV Smart PC, with full fledged Windows 8.

I’ll talk to you about the first big impressions i had.

First, that tablet is beautyful, very thin, light and straight edged. The Dock is thin and made of good facture. These aspects finally give you a Mini -utrabook with a real good design.Second, the OS. The full version on a tablet really impose itself with developing power in your hands, the sky is the limit. The Windows Store ecosystem and years of sofware back compatibility.That’s a huge advantage against the iPad only running apps designed for it. The choice is made for me.Third, Performances. Equiped with the new Atom (CloverTrail) processor and coupled with an SSD, this machine is blazingly fast, and reveal precision and full power. Fluid, Fast, execute everything really easily and naturelly, proving Microsoft succeeded in implementing Windows on a Tablet.And last, the price.800 dollars. It’s a bit expensive but you really got something for your money, easily making Windows RT a steal of money.

Best Windows 8 product for me so far.

 

Il y a peu d’appareils disponibles pour la version tactile de Windows 8, la version qui intrigue le plus. Je passerai sur les tablettes Windows RT, le produit étant a mon gout trop jeune et en pleine phase de développement.J’ai donc la chance d’avoir mis la main sur cette nouvelle tablette de Samsung (avec Clavier Dock), la toute nouvelle ATIV avec une version complète cette fois de Windows 8.

Voici me premières impressions après une journée d’essai.

Premier aspect, la tablette est très belle, le style est fin, le dock se fond dans la masse et l’on devine un mini ultra book tactile, qui au moins du point de vue design, en impose un lot.Second aspect, l’OS. La version complète de Windows en impose, vous pouvez désormais tout faire sur tablette. L’écosystème Windows et des années de Sofwares sont disponible. Ce qui place cette tablette en concurrent direct de l’iPad, limité par son Store. L’utilisation de ce FULL version de Windows va certainement faire du mal a la concurrence.Troisième aspect, les performances. Equipés du nouveau processeur Atom (CloverTrail) et d’un SSD, la machine d’apparence légère et fine, se révèle réellement surprenante a  l’utilisation et d’une super précision. Fluide et rapide, l’exécution des taches se fait de manière très naturelle,  Et prouve que Microsoft a su implémenter un Windows complet dans une tablette.Quatrième aspect, le prix. 800 Euros. Il s’agit d’une certaine somme, mais il faut s’avouer que l’on obtient une machine flambant neuve et rapide, très innovante et prête pour le futur. La qualité de fabrication est présente, et cette Samsung ATIV est très engageante et aspire a progresser dans votre travail.
